Responsibilities
- Perform screening operations at security checkpoints, including X-ray screening, walk-through metal detectors, and physical pat-downs.
- Identify and seize prohibited items such as weapons, explosives, and other dangerous materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while enforcing security regulations and policies.
- Inspect carry-on and checked baggage to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Document all screening results and report any suspicious activities or anomalies immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and secure flow of passengers and luggage.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check, including a criminal history review and fingerprinting.
- Ability to pass a drug test and medical examination.
- Must meet physical requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure in high-volume environments.
