Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and manual detection techniques
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and body scans as required by security protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to potential threats with appropriate escalation procedures
- Operate advanced screening technology and maintain equipment functionality
- Enforce TSA regulations and provide clear communication to travelers about security requirements
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for operating security systems
- No felony convictions and clean employment history
