Responsibilities
- Perform thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect prohibited items and security threats.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment according to established protocols.
- Interact professionally with passengers, providing clear instructions and resolving security issues calmly and efficiently.
- Document observations and report security incidents or anomalies immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and adhere to all TSA security regulations and safety procedures.
- Conduct random screening checks and ensure compliance with Federal Regulations.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check, including a criminal history and credit check.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and drug screen.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
