Responsibilities
- Perform screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect threats to aviation security.
- Operate X-ray screening equipment and metal detectors to identify prohibited items effectively.
- Interact with the public in a professional, courteous, and calm manner, enforcing security regulations while maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify any irregularities or safety violations.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and stamina required for the role.

Qualifications
- United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status is required.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a federal background check, fingerprinting, and medical examination.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years (or as determined by the specific hiring authority).
