Responsibilities
- Conduct screening operations for passengers, baggage, and cargo to ensure compliance with TSA security directives.
- Operate X-ray, CT, and advanced imaging technology equipment to detect prohibited items.
- Interact professionally with the traveling public, enforcing security regulations while providing exceptional customer service.
- Remain alert and vigilant to identify potential threats or security breaches in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and secure checkpoint environment.
- Complete all required training modules and maintain certifications.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation and medical screening.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy baggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
