Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare compliance regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct internal audits across 3+ regional facilities
- Develop corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy updates
- Train staff on new compliance protocols
- Generate monthly compliance reports for leadership
- Manage vendor compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance experience (VA/DOD preferred)
- Active VA security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Expert knowledge of 38 CFR Part 17 (VA regulations)
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate)
- PHR or SHRM-SCP certification required
- Excellent written communication skills
