Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats across DoD networks
- Implement and maintain security protocols for classified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans for cyber threats
- Coordinate with federal agencies on security initiatives
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity
- CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of DODI 8500.2 security policies
- Experience with incident response frameworks
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
