Responsibilities
- Implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage security incident response protocols
- Develop security awareness training for federal personnel
- Monitor network traffic for threats using SIEM tools
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and CMMC requirements
- Collaborate with DHS cybersecurity leadership on strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- 3+ years of IT security experience in government sector
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency in Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar tools
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance standards
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance post-hire
