Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive case management and support services to veteran beneficiaries
- Process complex benefit claims with 95% accuracy and strict adherence to federal regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Conduct eligibility determinations for VA programs and services
- Document all interactions in the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA)
- Represent the VA in community outreach events and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure compliance with all privacy and security protocols under HIPAA and federal guidelines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum of 2 years federal or relevant healthcare administration experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- VA Form 10-2850C (Application for Associated Health Occupations) must be submitted
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
- Knowledge of Title 38, U.S. Code and VA regulations
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Experience with veterans' affairs programs preferred
