Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal/state/local regulations for public programs
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across county departments
- Develop/update compliance policies and procedural documentation
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory changes and enforcement actions
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Prepare detailed reports for county commissioners and regulatory bodies
- Investigate non-compliance incidents and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years regulatory compliance experience in government sector
- Deep knowledge of Ohio Revised Code and federal regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software
- Valid Ohio driver's license
