Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports tailored to funder requirements
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather compelling project narratives and data
- Manage grant application timelines and ensure compliance with submission guidelines
- Track funding trends and maintain accurate grant databases
- Collaborate with finance team to prepare accurate budgets and financial reports
- Represent organization at funder meetings and networking events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Portfolio of 5+ successfully funded grant proposals
- Expertise in researching and securing government, foundation, and corporate grants
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and financial reporting
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and grant management software
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
