Responsibilities
- Oversee and secure local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) across government facilities.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data.
- Conduct system troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, and software installations.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal IT regulations and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT infrastructure performance.
- Maintain detailed records of system configurations and security incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Active Federal Government Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CISSP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
