Responsibilities
- Manage and secure city-wide IT infrastructure including cloud systems and networks
- Develop cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive citizen data
- Implement and maintain municipal software applications
- Provide technical support for 500+ government employees
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on digital initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal and state IT regulations
- Lead system upgrades and disaster recovery planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government IT infrastructure management
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and network security
- Experience with municipal ERP systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Denver residency required within 6 months of hire
