Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) across federal facilities.
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal security and uptime for government systems.
- Install, configure, and support end-user hardware and software, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement data protection protocols to comply with federal regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to government staff regarding IT policies and procedures.
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate technical records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or network administration within a government or corporate environment.
- Knowledge of federal compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a Public Trust clearance.
