Responsibilities
- Enforce and Monitor: Uphold city ordinances and government regulations to ensure public safety and compliance in assigned districts.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local residents, businesses, and community leaders to foster trust and cooperation.
- Documentation: Prepare accurate, detailed reports and incident logs regarding daily activities, violations, and observations.
- Patrol & Response: Conduct routine patrols and respond promptly to emergency situations, alarms, or citizen inquiries.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other government agencies and local law enforcement units to coordinate community initiatives.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain personal equipment and patrol vehicles in peak operating condition.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in public service, law enforcement, or government administration is a plus.
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass physical agility tests and maintain physical fitness standards required for the role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
