Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on legislative impacts affecting the Portland, OR and North Carolina regions.
- Prepare and analyze data to draft clear, concise policy recommendations and reports.
- Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to coordinate the rollout of new government initiatives.
- Monitor federal and state legislative updates to ensure organizational compliance.
- Facilitate public outreach programs to gather community feedback on government services.
- Maintain accurate records of policy changes and administrative procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public sector or government-related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government database management systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required government security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
