Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical government database systems and applications.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including data security standards.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for internal government staff.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a government or public sector IT environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, or similar database management tools.
- Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if required).
