Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across various departments.
- Manage and maintain internal computer systems, government databases, and communication networks.
- Assist citizens, employees, and visitors with technical inquiries, account access, and system navigation.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and infrastructure.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to design and deploy new technology solutions efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various city facilities.
