Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately to meet delivery deadlines.
- Operate postal vehicles to deliver mail and packages to residences and businesses within assigned routes.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues regarding mail delivery.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a secure working environment for self and others.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy parcels, standing for extended periods, and walking long distances.
- Manage package handling and verify addresses to ensure correct distribution.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or currently possess a Permanent Resident Card (Green Card).
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record (if driving a vehicle).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
