Responsibilities
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Law Enforcement Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years of public safety or military experience
- US citizenship and NC driver's license with clean record
- Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass comprehensive background check and psychological evaluation
- Basic EMT certification preferred
