Responsibilities
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws with professionalism and integrity
- Respond to emergency calls and public safety incidents within 8-minute response time
- Conduct proactive patrols in designated community zones
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Participate in community outreach programs and public safety education
- Operate department vehicles and specialized safety equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Arizona Peace Officer certification (POST)
- Minimum 2 years public safety or law enforcement experience
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and public safety software
- Fluency in English; Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
