Responsibilities
- Manage and secure complex federal network infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime and compliance with FISMA regulations.
- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability scanning to mitigate potential security threats.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for classified and unclassified networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable IT solutions that meet mission-critical objectives.
- Document technical configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
- Train junior staff and government personnel on best practices for data security and system usage.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance with favorable adjudication (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or comparable government contracting.
- Proven expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity protocols, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
