Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and government officials.
- Ensure full compliance with Federal (FISMA) and State government regulations, policies, and security standards.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups) and coordinate cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and subject matter experts.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract deliverables for third-party service providers.
- Prepare detailed status reports, budgets, and forecasts for executive review.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Government or Federal Contracting.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Clearance: Active or ability to obtain Secret or Top Secret clearance is a plus.
