Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex IT systems and applications aligned with federal and state standards.
- Lead technical assessments and provide expert consultation on system architecture and security protocols.
- Oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions and ensure data integrity and privacy compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, engineering, or a related role.
- Deep knowledge of government security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA) and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong experience with database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
