Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure and server environments for state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, scalable IT solutions.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to government staff regarding hardware and software applications.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement necessary upgrades to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ensure compliance with state security protocols and federal data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (Azure or AWS).
- Experience with SQL databases and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced government setting.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess the ability to pass a background check and security clearance.
