Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity protocols across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber threats
- Develop and execute security awareness training for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DHS security frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Manage security audits and remediation documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security or equivalent DoD/DHS role
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, AlienVault) and network security
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Strong analytical skills and crisis management capabilities
