Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy secure software solutions and applications for state agencies.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability scanning to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and optimize database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and FISMA standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for system outages and implement preventative measures.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development or systems engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP is highly desired.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
