Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, documents, and archives with precision and confidentiality
- Oversee municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Prepare and maintain city council meeting agendas, minutes, and official proceedings
- Administer oaths of office and issue municipal permits/licenses
- Ensure compliance with state and local record-keeping regulations
- Act as primary liaison between citizens and city government
- Supplement records management staff during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency in records management systems (e.g., ECM, SharePoint)
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin election laws and procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Ability to obtain Notary Public commission within 6 months
- Experience with FOIA compliance and public records requests
