Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and file legal documents and court records with the highest level of accuracy.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries from the public, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Operate standard office equipment, including scanners, copiers, and case management software.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date case information and statistical records.
- Assist in the preparation of docket sheets and manage courtroom schedules as directed.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with diverse members of the community.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or legal support role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer literacy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with strict discretion and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
