Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties including data entry, filing, and answering multi-line phone systems.
- Interact with the public and community members to provide information regarding city services and regulations.
- Assist in the processing of permits, applications, and official documents.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of municipal activities and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with city departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with state and local laws.
- Prepare reports and correspondence for department heads and the City Council.
- Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a government, public administration, or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
