Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations and ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide high-level support to department heads and senior management, preparing reports and correspondence.
- Facilitate effective communication between staff, government officials, and the public.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and reviews.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of community outreach programs and public events.
- Monitor department budgets and assist in the procurement of necessary supplies and services.
- Resolve complex inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a government or public administration setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Valid California Driver’s License (required for field-based roles).
