Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf management, landscaping, and facility upkeep
- Operate recreational equipment (playgrounds, sports courts, pool facilities)
- Lead community events, youth programs, and seasonal activities
- Enforce park safety protocols and visitor guidelines
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on seasonal projects
- Assist with emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years landscaping or recreation facility maintenance experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems
- Strong communication skills for public interactions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate hand/power tools
