Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators and dump trucks for construction projects
- Perform road maintenance, asphalt repair, and traffic signal installations
- Execute drainage system improvements and flood control initiatives
- Conduct park landscaping, irrigation maintenance, and tree trimming
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in public works or construction
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
