Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compressors) under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain installations
- Maintain job site safety and cleanliness according to OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and inspection checklists
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
- Strong teamwork skills with ability to follow verbal instructions
