Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Process mail on the vehicle and at the station, ensuring accuracy and compliance with USPS standards.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving service issues.
- Perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations, security protocols, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Manage your assigned route efficiently to meet daily performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- A valid driver's license (Class C) is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting and walking.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
