Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an established route in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Collect and process incoming mail, including postage payments and return receipts.
- Answer questions from customers regarding mail delivery and services.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, the mail, and the public while operating a vehicle.
- Sort and organize mail before and after delivery.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professional appearance.
- Adhere to all postal service policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (must be in good standing).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read a map.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
