Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate postal vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and regulations
- Collect mail from customers and post office collection boxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers at delivery points
- Operate and maintain delivery equipment including scanners and vehicles
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
