Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and process postage due and cash on delivery (COD) payments from customers.
- Maintain the security and accountability of the mail in your custody.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve inquiries.
- Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, and lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all postal safety regulations and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and a physical exam.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License is a plus but not always required).
- Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Must have a good driving record.
