Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail and packages efficiently for delivery.
- Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses along a specific route.
- Obtain proper signatures and collect fees for COD (Cash on Delivery) items.
- Handle mail with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Report any damaged, undeliverable, or suspicious mail immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public while on the route.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and the mail on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a Permanent Resident Card.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
