Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communications
- Collect postage and fees when required for specific deliveries
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned delivery vehicle
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Assist with mail processing duties at the local post office as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
