Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers along an assigned route in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize mail in the delivery vehicle before beginning the route.
- Interact professionally with the public, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Obtain signatures for certified and registered mail as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle.
- Report any damaged or undeliverable mail promptly.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Resident status.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Class C).
- Must pass a criminal history background check and a drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
