Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to ensure timely delivery to every customer.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along a designated route.
- Maintain the safety and security of the assigned mail vehicle and equipment.
- Interact courteously with customers to resolve delivery concerns and answer inquiries.
- Collect and process postage-due items and cash-on-delivery (COD) payments.
- Adhere strictly to all USPS safety regulations, operational procedures, and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold permanent resident status.
- Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physical stamina to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
