Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately using automated sorting equipment.
- Load and unload parcels and mail from delivery vehicles and processing trucks.
- Perform manual sorting tasks when equipment is not available or for special handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service at the window and assist customers with their mail needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Update postal service information and prepare outgoing mail for transportation.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license (if required for specific route assignments).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
