Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business customers along a designated route with efficiency and professionalism.
- Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for distribution accurately and on time.
- Interact with customers to resolve inquiries, answer questions, and handle complaints with a positive attitude.
- Operate postal vehicles safely, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, address changes, and undeliverable items.
- Adhere to strict security and safety guidelines to ensure the protection of mail and personnel.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (required for most routes).
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and motor vehicle report review.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting 35-70 lbs and walking up to 10 miles per day in all weather conditions.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
