Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Sort incoming and outgoing mail with accuracy and efficiency to ensure timely delivery.
- Deliver Mail: Travel established routes to deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and resolve service issues courteously.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and delivery equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all USPS safety regulations, operational procedures, and traffic laws.
- Time Management: Manage time effectively to ensure all mail is delivered by the end of the day.
- Package Handling: Handle parcels with care, ensuring safe and secure delivery.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent legal resident status.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Clearance: Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks, including walking and standing for extended periods.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
