Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses on an established route.
- Observe all postal safety regulations and handle mail with the utmost confidentiality and care.
- Collect and process payments for C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) items.
- Handle undeliverable mail according to USPS protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Valid Driver's License (Class B) required.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physical fitness required to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
- Good vision (corrective lenses acceptable) and ability to read addresses clearly.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read maps/directions.
- Must pass a background check and a drug screening.
