Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for veteran healthcare systems
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for network and server operations
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (NIST/FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
- Document IT procedures and create technical training materials
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware/software acquisitions
- Respond to security incidents and conduct vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
