Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical care to veteran patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Provide medical consultations and emergency response support
- Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to continuous education programs
- Adhere to VA protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Valid medical license in the state of Florida
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post-residency
- VA hospital experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
- Successful completion of background investigation
