Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and specialty medical care to veteran patients
- Lead multidisciplinary treatment planning and case conferences
- Participate in VA research initiatives and quality improvement programs
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Supervise residents and medical students as teaching faculty
- Collaborate with mental health and social work services
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Valid Pennsylvania medical license
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty
- VA medical officer experience preferred
- US citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA medical staff privileges
- BLS/ACLS certification
