Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to veteran patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research and evidence-based medicine initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations and VA protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Valid medical license in the state of Illinois
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post-residency
- US Citizenship required for federal employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA medical staff privileges
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., CPRS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
